The moments that make our life seem real
Are not the things that we did but the ones that we feel


A hug that lasts longer in a moment of need
A kiss from our soul mate, their love poem to read


Dreams coming true, finding a new home to live
Tears of happiness opening a gift one will give


Little feet of new life, watching them as they grow
So many real moments, more than we know


The sad ones real too, goodbyes said must come
Some short, some forever, can make us feel numb


Like a movie that plays, the life with most reward
Has the most of those moments with ones we adored.
